Yoga FAQs

Q) Are all your yoga classes booked in blocks?
A) We try to be as flexible as possible. You can book a trial class of any yoga class before committing to a block. Blocks are rolling, meaning you can join at any time as long as we have a space in your chosen yoga class.


Q) Is 55 too late to start yoga?
A) No absolutely not, yoga can be practiced at any stage of life. The style and intensity may vary depending on your physical ability. Get in touch to find the right yoga class for you.

Q) How to start yoga from scratch?
A) Join a beginner's yoga class for guidance and a supportive environment as you discover the benefits of yoga practice.

Q) How should I dress for a yoga class?
A) Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move and stretch your body in.

Q) Do I need to bring my own yoga mat to a yoga class?
A) We provide mats for our yoga classes, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Pregnancy and Yoga FAQs

Yoga and Pregnancy, if you would like to experience the benefits of yoga through your pregnancy but have some questions, please Q) When should you start pregnancy yoga? A) We recommend you wait until you have had your first scan around 12/13 weeks. Q) How many weeks pregnant can you do yoga? A) From your first scan right up until your baby is born. Q) I've never done yoga before does that matter? A) No, our pregnancy yoga classes are slow and gentle, very easy to follow, and can be adapted depending on how you are feeling. Q) Is it safe to do yoga while pregnant? A) Yes, if your pregnancy is free from health complications and you join a yoga class designed specifically for pregnancy. If you are experiencing complications with your pregnancy, we advise you to talk about joining a yoga class with your midwife or Doctor first. Q) What do I need to bring to prenatal yoga? A) A yoga mat, water bottle, and any props you use like blocks, belts, or yoga socks. But don’t worry if you're just starting we provide mats and props.

Mum, Baby and Yoga FAQs

Mum and Baby Classes are a beautiful way to bond, have fun with your baby, and meet other mums. If your worried about your baby crying or what to do if you need to feed during a mum and baby class, we have answered some FAQs Q) What if my baby cries during our mum and baby yoga class? A) This class is very much baby-led. So it honestly doesn’t matter if this happens. If they are crying you can walk around and do whatever you need to settle them. Q) What if my baby needs to be fed during a mum and baby yoga class? A) This class is very much baby-led, so feel free to feed your baby when you need to. Q)What if my baby sleeps during our mum and baby yoga class? A) If they are sleeping just enjoy the peace and the time to move your body or join them on the mat and have a rest too. Q) When should I start mum and baby yoga? A) We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks after you have given birth or 8-10 weeks following an abdominal birth. Q) Are mother and baby yoga classes good for you? A) Yes, the combination of gentle exercise, relaxation techniques, and a supportive community helps mums and babies through the ups and downs of new parenthood. Our mum and baby classes are designed to allow you both to relax together, stretch together, and make friends together. Q) What do I need to bring to mum and baby yoga class? A) A change bag, blanket, or towel for your baby to lie on, a favourite toy, and a bottle and formula (if you use it)
